Sunshine, blood red
Lights on the dusty road
Turns it to fire
And reflects on my face.
My eyes grow wet
The red water of life
Pouring forth
As I cry
For angels fallen.

Here at the End Here at the end of the world,Here at the End by ~dhaga
Fireflies light our way
Across the dark expanse.
The sun is hidden
Behind perpetual cover.
The clouds race, run, and change shape,
But the sky is never revealed.
Little light filters down to us;
What does come is dirty.
Gloomy.
Here at the end of the world,
When night falls,
The darkness is nearly absolute.
We can no longer see the stars.
The moon is but a pale glimmer,
Offering little relief
From the constant darkness.
Like our hope,
It wanes day by day.
Soon it will be gone.
Here at the end of the world,
Mother Earth is sick,
And we worry she may not recover.
Her skin is feverish,
Scorch

For Cricket Today, we say goodbyeFor Cricket by ~dhaga
To she of black and white fur,
And of the questing, curious nose,
Of deep black eyes,
Of insatiable pink tongue.
To no more climb and explore,
To no more rest upon shoulders,
In pockets,
Under hair.
Goodbye, dearest Cricket.
You will be remembered.

Mistery Tendrils of fog coil around meMistery by ~dhaga
As I walk in the cool night air.
Like a hesitant lover,
Ghostly fingers caress my face,
Though I barely feel their touch.
Encircling my arms and legs,
They hope to hold me still in their embrace,
But they break and uncoil moments later
As I continue onward.
Other fingers reach out to me;
They curl and uncurl, beckoning lazily,
Asking me to follow, to what lies hidden
Deep within their mist-shrouded home.
